Jessica Taylor, PhD
Dr. Jessica Taylor is a strategic executive advisor with 20+ years of experience guiding organizations through crisis, transformation, and institutional complexity.
Having served as Chief of Staff, Executive Director, CEO, Chancellor, and President, she is a trusted authority known for having keen strategic insight that transforms how leaders navigate high stakes decisions, organizational conflict, and systemic change. Her academic work includes advanced doctoral study in psychology and leadership, focused on organizational behavior, executive decision making, and the human dynamics that shape institutional health.
As the first Black woman to be named President of a Council for Christian Colleges & Universities university, she was also granted an honorary doctorate and named President Emeritus in recognition of her leadership during one of the university’s most financially and organizationally fragile seasons.
Dr. Taylor is known for solving problems others experience as unsolvable by identifying systemic patterns and anticipating what is coming around the corner. She challenges leaders to think systemically about revenue, relationships, and risk so growth does not come at the expense of the people inside the organization.
